BlackRock

BlackRock Inc. and CleanCapital LLC bought a 46.9-megawatt portfolio of U.S. solar power from ATN International Inc. subsidiary, Ahana Renewables. The portfolio consists of 60 operating solar projects located in California, Massachusetts and New Jersey. The acquisition is part of a new partnership between BlackRock and CleanCapital, and is CleanCapital’s largest to date.

RightCapital

Financial planning tech firm RightCapital partners with Commonwealth. Commonwealth Financial Network’s choice to partner with the startup demonstrates there is still room to innovate in financial planning software.

The announcement makes RightCapital the sixth financial planning program available to Commonwealth’s 1,800 advisors, alongside popular options like MoneyGuidePro and eMoney.

Addepar has been honored with Morgan Stanley’s FinTech award at the financial service firm’s third annual Fintech Summit in New York. The award recognizes a fintech company that has had a significant impact on Morgan Stanley’s mission to continuously innovate for its clients and business. Addepar’s CEO, Eric Poirier accepted the award from Rob Rooney, Head of Morgan Stanley Technology and Sal Cucchiara, Head of Wealth Management Technology, during the Summit’s evening reception.

Brinker Capital

Brinker Capital, a leading investment management company focused on multi-asset class investing, announced the expansion of its partnership with AdvisoryWorld, a leading software provider for financial advisors. Brinker Capital utilizes AdvisoryWorld as its technology partner for two comprehensive digital reporting applications, namely the Portfolio Observations and its Wealth Advisory proposal.

SEI, a publicly owned asset management holding company, and Fusion Wealth, the bespoke platform solutions provider for wealth managers and large-scale financial planners, have extended their existing long-term relationship through a new deal that will see the pair work together until at least 2025.

Fusion Wealth first appointed the SEI Wealth PlatformSM in 2011 to provide an integrated wealth-management infrastructure for its growing client base. Since then, the business has expanded considerably and now provides a core solution for some of the leading Wealth Management and Financial Planning firms in the UK.
