RetireUp

RetireUp, a provider of innovative retirement income planning software for advisors, today announced an integration with Wealthbox, a web-and-mobile customer relationship management (CRM) application for financial advisors.

The Wealthbox integration will span the full RetireUp suite, including its newest product, RetireUp Pro, an end-to-end retirement planning tool that features real-time annuity, portfolio and insurance product modeling that enables advisors to build customized retirement income plans for clients in minutes.

Personal Capital

Personal Capital announced a new feature called Retirement Paycheck that helps clients with a personalized, tax-efficient withdrawal strategy for retirement. Retirement Paycheck provides clients with guidance on how to withdraw money in retirement in a simple, clear, year-by-year, interactive way so they can plan for tax implications and avoid penalties by withdrawing funds from the right mix of accounts.

Clients can access the feature now within Personal Capital’s Retirement Planner, the company’s Monte Carlo forecasting tool, which shows a retirement savings projection that incorporates portfolio return and volatility, annual savings, income and spending goals.

New Wealth Experience and Morningstar Research to collaborate on providing unit trust and mutual fund information to Asian Financial Institutions.

Headquartered in Singapore, New Wealth has developed clear-cut and easy to use sales and advisory tools and applications for both relationship managers and self-directed investors, supporting the effective transformation of local financial institutions across emerging markets.

Morningstar Research, a subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. a leading provider of independent investment research, will provide New Wealth with unit trust and mutual funds information to power its modern solutions for retail banks, asset managers and life insurers.

Thomson Reuters

Thomson Reuters launches SI reporting service.

Thomson Reuters is launching a reporting solution for financial institutions deemed systematic internalisers under the second Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid II).

The solution, RTS 27 Now, is designed to help market participants fulfil the reporting requirements outlined in the European Securities and Markets Authority’s 27th regulatory technical standards, often referred to under the moniker RTS 27.

Vestmark appoints Mark Donohue as Chief Financial Officer.

Vestmark, the leading provider of portfolio management and trading solutions for financial advisors and institutions, today announced Mark Donohue as the firm’s new Chief Financial Officer.

Donohue joins Vestmark at a time of rapid growth. Apex Clearing Corporation

Digital Wealth Management firm Apex Clearing to launch Crypto Investment Subsidiary.

Financial clearing and execution company Apex Clearing confirmed it planned to open a dedicated cryptocurrency entity in a press release Wednesday, September 5.

Apex, which has operated since 2012, will create Apex Crypto to give existing clients access to various cryptocurrencies, initially including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC) among others.l

Investing platforms such as broker-dealers using Apex will thus be able to provide cryptocurrency investment opportunities to their own users, the press release notes.
