Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR), a global Fintech and customer communications leader, released a study revealing that personalization in communications is significantly impacting customer loyalty. Over one-third (35 percent) of 3,004 consumers surveyed in the U.S. and Canada say that the companies they patron need to improve communication experiences. Moreover, one in four (25 percent) have stopped doing business with a company specifically due to poorly personalized communications. This grows to one in three (35 percent) among Millennials.

United Capital’s white-label technology platform, FinLife Partners, now has 38 firms with $22.5 billion in assets, up from just $8 billion on the platform in June 2018. The firm’s registered investment advisory has about $22 billion in assets across 85 firms nationwide, and CEO Joe Duran said he expects the white-label business to be twice the size of the RIA by year-end.

SoFi, short for Social Finance, is now offering stock and ETF trading with no fees. Investors can currently trade only individual stocks and ETFs on the platform; individual bonds and mutual funds are expected to be added in the future. David Goldstone, analyst at Backend Benchmarking, which publishes The Robo Report, says SoFi is trying to leverage its initial success in refinancing student loans to become the single platform where an individual interacts with their money.
